ANDUIN

Discover hidden value
in your operational data.

AI data labs are actively searching for operational data from businesses for training their models, with licensing deals ranging from five figures to upwards of seven figures. We work out whether your business qualifies, then work with our specialist data partners for short cycle procurement of your operational data.

Systems

The systems your work already lives in.

The data we are looking for already exists in your workflows. These are the ordinary tools your team uses every day that show a history of and insight into how you actually get your work done.

Slack & TeamsHow far back the history goes, and whether decisions get argued out in writing
Support ticketsThe diagnosis, the wrong turns and the fix
CRMPipeline notes, call logs and deal histories with the reasoning left in
Drive & emailProposals, SOPs, internal memos and post-mortems, ideally years deep
SpreadsheetsModels, pricing and forecasts
Design & project filesSpecs, revisions, and the review threads that shaped them

Do you run any of these systems? One conversation tells you whether there is something here worth pursuing.

Qualification

The demand is real. You have the supply.

We help you realise the potential and value of your operational data. We consult on your records and your rights to license your data to buyers in a new market.

The value of data

Frontier and vertical labs have taken what there is to take from crawling the internet. The remaining gains are not in more public text. They are in data that shows how work is actually performed: the context that never gets published, because it is internal by nature.

Reasoning and human workflows

Not the outcome on its own, but the path to it. The argument before the decision, the three things that were tried before the fix worked, the revision that got rejected and why.

Market evolution

Existing data flows are structured, largely non-text, and aggregated for benchmarking a business against its market. Useful for analysis, close to useless for training. The demand has moved; the supply has not.

Opportunity

Your operating history, your decisions.

Data licensing is designed with your comfort in mind. Our specialist data partners structure the licensing deals on your preferred exclusivity rights, provenance, and strategic positioning. Personal information is removed before anything reaches a buyer. Data you hold on behalf of your clients is excluded.

Exclusivity

Public data is available to every lab at once, so it commands nothing. Your internal record exists in one place. Whoever licenses it holds something the others structurally cannot get, given correct structuring of the licensing deal.

A new market

AI labs seek a genuine and in-depth record. This grants historically operating businesses a unique opportunity to capitalise on value for a new market with massive demand.

Ongoing opportunities

Access to ongoing data procurement opportunities at the frontier of AI data training. Helping AI data labs create better products that you use in your businesses everyday and getting paid to do it.

Process

Your data licensing consultant, on the thread throughout.

Selling data in Australia is a compliance exercise before it is a commercial one, and that is the part most licensing deals stall on. We sit on your side of it, working out what you can lawfully license, getting the scope defensible under the Privacy Act, and staying in the correspondence with you until it is signed.

Qualification

A conversation about which systems you run, how far back they go, and how your team uses them. We do the qualifying work, so you are not spending months on a deal that was never there.

Compliance

The Privacy Act, the Australian Privacy Principles, and APP 8 where a buyer sits offshore. We work through rights, consent and client material with you up front, not after a buyer's counsel raises it.

Scope

Which systems, which date range, what is carved out entirely. We help you draw that line and get it in writing, so what leaves your business is exactly what you decided would leave it.

Pricing

Pricing sits with our specialist data partner, however the price itself is dependent on the depth and texture of your record. Licensing deals range from five figures to upwards of seven figures. Our job is to put you in front of them already qualified, so the number comes back on real terms.

Procurement

Qualification, rights review and buyer conversations run alongside each other rather than one after the other. Rights review is where data licensing usually stalls, so it is the part we start first.

Partnerships

One licence is rarely the end of it. Your records keep accumulating and new buyers keep arriving. We keep the relationship going and bring you the next monetisation opportunity when it fits.

We do not take custody of your data at any point. We advise, qualify and sit alongside you; the anonymisation and the handling are done by the specialist under agreements you sign. Ask us how it works before you commit to anything.

Protections

What the licensing deal is
built to protect.

These are the terms the arrangement is structured around. The buyer carries them: they are the party handling the data, and the ones who answer for it.

OwnershipIt is a licence, not a sale. The records stay yours, you keep using them, and you are not handing the business over with them.
AnonymisationPersonal information is removed before anything reaches a buyer. Names, contact details and direct identifiers do not travel.
ConfidentialityData you hold on behalf of your clients is excluded. Where your own records and theirs are tangled together, separating them is part of the work, not an afterthought.
ComplianceThe Privacy Act and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, including cross-border disclosure under APP 8 where a buyer is offshore. The buyer holds that obligation.
ProvenanceWhich systems for what purpose, which date range, what is off the table. Scope is decided by you, and provenance is kept through the chain.
No commitmentNothing is committed by talking to us. There is no agreement with us to sign, and no obligation to proceed after an introduction.

FAQ

Questions we get first.

What does Anduin do?

We find businesses whose operational records a lab would plausibly pay for, work out whether that is genuinely the case, and introduce you to a specialist data partner who runs the licensing deal. We consult with you on value discovery, and from a compliance perspective, to get the best pricing for your operational data licensing. We never receive, hold or process your operational data at any point.

What does this cost me?

No initial fee and no upfront costs; if a deal happens, we charge a commission depending on our involvement at your direction, only when you've been paid. There is no commitment to anything by having the conversation. Book a free consultation to discuss further.

Do I lose ownership of my operational data?

No. It is licensed, not sold. Your records stay yours and you keep operating on them exactly as before. What is granted is an exclusive defined right, on terms you agree, for a defined period. Provenance is enclosed within the agreement.

What about my clients' information?

It stays out. Operational data you hold on behalf of clients is generally governed by agreements that prohibit onward disclosure, and no amount of anonymisation cures a contractual bar. Where your own operational record and your clients' content are interleaved, separating them is part of the buyer's work.

Is the operational data anonymised?

Yes - Personal information is removed as a matter of course. Buyers implement secure methodologies to clean all sensitive identifiers from your operational data. Your data is encrypted and logged with a complete audit trail in compliance with all Australian privacy laws.

Who works with my data?

The buyer works with your data as a part of the deal. If you have any questions about the specifics, ask the buyer directly and they should be able to share their process with you.

Who is the buyer?

We have a network of specialist data labs that we introduce you to when we qualify your business. Although we offer our consultation services throughout the entire process, we are not a party to your agreement.

What is my operational data worth?

We do not price it — the buyer does, and ultimately the market does. Licensing deals typically range from five figures and upwards of seven figures. Value is driven by scarcity, volume, texture, and argumentative reasoning. If it is not valuable, our specialist data partner will quickly let you know. The review is free, so the honest answer is: let's find out rather than guess.

How long does this take?

Getting quoted on your operational data license is usually a quick process and a couple meetings with our specialist data lab partners. The demand for data can change quickly in these markets so we endeavor to get you to a quoted stage of the deal with minimal legwork from you.

Can I stop, or reduce what I share?

Scope is yours to set: which systems, which date range, what is off the table entirely. Nothing is committed by talking to us, and you are under no obligation to proceed after an introduction.

How do I know what happens to my data?

Your data gets a permanent digital stamp that proves ownership and tracks its exact origin. This creates a provenance record verifying the buyer uses your data strictly within your licensed terms. You retain 100% legal ownership, with the power to revoke access if boundaries are ever crossed.
